To join a meeting on a conferencing server

1. Click the Place Call button.
2. In To, type the name of the multipoint control unit (MCU).
3. Click the name of the conference you want to join.

Note

• You may first have to log on to a gatekeeper before you can call an MCU. If you call using a gatekeeper, in To, type the MCU conference alias registered with the gatekeeper. Contact your system administrator for more information.
• An MCU is a central computing facility that hosts multipoint data conferences, which might be held in conjunction with audio or video conferences. The MCU can handle multiple participants from multiple computers in a single conference.
